High-water everywhere…

Happy New Year to all of you 🙂 I hope you had a good night. We have just taken it easy and after our evening round (with some fireworks going off) we turned in and I slept for most of the evening. Just woke up for midnight, however nothing drastic to report there – stayed up for an hour and then went back snoozies 🙂
Our morning / lunchtime round today was an easy one, I met a good few dogs on our round, however I wasn’t in the mood for playing. new_yearYou see the place being packed, especially down by “Peter’s Krabbenkombüse” a big crowd had gathered to welcome the New Year I guess. We strolled past that and went for the waterfront. As you can see from the pictures, the weather wasn’t really thatnew_year-6great, however it stayed dry for the round, which is good 🙂 The tide was in and the wind pushed the water further inland. So where there was a road yesterday, all was flooded today and there was no getting through. Only the last bit we walked through the huge puddle, so I was wet anyway 🙂

Down by the water the wind was gusty enough and when I sat on the wall, the boss took a video. You can hear wind going and see the water being pushed in. It was great to be out there, especially with all the fireworks gone. I think we might be going home tonight, so we have 2 more days in order to get ready for work again. They say: time flies when you are having fun, which is kinda true. It was fun, however the Rømø part we could have skipped if you ask me. Well – you learn from your mistakes. The boss did some research and we found a real cool place in Sweden. I let you know in due time. No doubt it will fun either way. Wrapping things up for now, the boss is going running and I am off to the couch to have a well earned snooze. Have a great day all and paws up from me 🐾

  1. We look forward to seeing where you are going in Sweden! This does look like a very pretty place.
