Hi all – today was an action packed day. We went for a daytrip to the North Sea and yes there was plenty of swimming and running in and out of the water. We set of early so that we would miss most of the morning traffic even though it was Saturday.

Our first stop was in a small town called “Leer” – which is funny because the word leer means empty. Funny I know – however the place was empty all the same, only a few people out and about which was great for us. We had a good walk around the place and while it was fun to be out, I knew there was more to come 🙂

The next place we stopped was the best part of the trip. A place called “Dornumersiel” where the boss and I had been a good few times while staying with our friend Alex in the Dornumer Wappen. Unfortunately we discovered today that the place was closed, well lets hope they are closed for renovations. Anyhow – moving swiftly on… we finally went for a swim in the water. Here is the video the boss took. We had such a ball, running in and out of the water and Jule just had fun running around like mad and pretty much having a good time enjoying life 🙂 After all this running and swimming we had to have a break and as there wasn’t really anything open, we brought most of what we needed ourselves, meaning getting treats and more of course. 🙂 Well we had been good right?

Getting a drink after all the treats we got 🙂 So once we had put all that behind, we had a good drive around the area and went for a few brief walks where we stopped. Here is an image from a place called “Carolinensiel” – those bronce statues are part of the long standing heritage of the fisherman living there.

As always – I will leave you with the rest of the pictures from our drive around. Hope you’re having fun browsing through them. Guess we will have to go again when times are better. Well – the boss said so.We had a great day and as you can imagine, we are both knackered now and I am off for a good long snooze. Have a great evening all and paws up from us 🐾 🐾 Stay safe…
